Pterry The Pterodactyl Dinosaur Sculpture

This is a personal project/piece. This is a sculpture I created recently to combat the obstacles that come in with being under lockdown. The government officials stressed that we all do activities that stimulate the brain to help it stay active and to not be overwhelmed by all the happenings of the global pandemic known as COVID-19. I absolutely adore dinosaurs and I wanted to shake things up in my home office so I decided I’d make a life size pterodactyl sculpture to hang on the ceiling of said home office. 2 days of intense labor and this beautiful beast was born! He stands at 3 1/2 ft tall and has a wing span of 12 1/2 ft. long and is about 6 ft. wide. The materials I used for this was simply cardboard and some acrylic paint along with hot glue. I adore this piece and can’t wait to make more life size dinosaur sculptures! 🥰💙
